Tertiary Access Level 2
Townsville, Cairns
This course of one academic year prepares students for entry into an undergraduate course in a specific field of study. Students may choose from the following options:
1. Humanities Tertiary Access Course (HuTAC) is offered in flexible
delivery mode with a quality tutorial support program to cater for
individual students’ learning needs.
2. Science Tertiary Access Course (SciTAC). This prepares students
for entry into Health Sciences including Medicine and Nursing; Science
including Marine Biology and Biomedical Sciences; and Engineering.
This course is available only at the Townsville
campus.
All applicants for tertiary access programs must participate in the Internal Selection Program (ISP) which is offered twice a year, in May and November, in Townsville. The ISP includes a series of diagnostic assessments and an interview process.
