Available to students enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Social Science or Graduate Diploma of Arts.
A program of specialised reading and study and training in the design and execution of an archaeological research project, is undertaken prior to the production of a dissertation of 8,000-10,000 words on an approved topic.
Learning Outcomes
- become conversant with advanced archaeological theory and method;
- design and undertake an independent research project in archaeology;
- develop appropriate levels of skills for the design and execution of an archaeological research project;
- produce a scholarly dissertation on the chosen topic.
