Available to Graduate Diploma and selected Master of Biomedical Science (Coursework) students.
The student carries out an extensive review of the world literature on a selected topic which is incorporated into a dissertation. The data collected completing the research project will be presented in the form of a scientific paper. The written report will include a review of the literature, methodology, results and statistical analyses (where appropriate), discussion and future directions of the project. The report will be fully referenced.
Learning Outcomes
- prepare a dissertation on the topic which critically reviews the literature;
- review the scientific literature on a particular topic;
- understand aspects of experiment planning, costing, execution and data interpretation.
